Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells have proven highly effective against blood cancers but still face challenges in treating solid tumors. In the Low-Nam lab, I investigate how these engineered T cells integrate activation signals at the single-cell and single-molecule level.
A key question driving our research is: What is the minimum stimulation required to activate CAR T cells?
Future Directions
My strategy in guiding my future is to join an organization(s) whose purpose aligns with my research passion, where I can autonomously apply my mastery and collaborate with others committed to the same goals.
