Congrats on making it to the end! This last photo has a special place in my heart. I took it as a young child while visiting the Columbus zoo for the first time.
I recall my mother insisting that the otters were moving too fast for my disposable camera. Well, low and behold, just at the edge of the shadow I captured an otter!
This ‘challenge’ from my mother led to a lifelong appreciation and love of all otters; from the tiny Asian small clawed otter to the giant river otters of South America.
